Quest Beyond the Eagle

In 2007 (June 30 - July 14), the High Adventure Team of the Los Angeles Area Council will offer this outstanding two week program. Thirty six young men (14 through 17) will have the opportunity of a lifetime to take part in the Quest Beyond the Eagle program headquartered at the unique Clem Glass Memorial Eagle's Nest at Log Cabin Wilderness Camp in the High Sierra.

The program features instruction in wilderness oriented advanced Scout skills including navigation, search and rescue and physical challenges including a climb up a glacier to a 12,590 foot peak with ice axe, crampons and rope. Over 800 Scouts have experienced this one-of-a-kind program.
